How to pluck your eyebrows
STEP 1: ASSESS YOUR EXISTING EYEBROWS
Take a look at your eye brows in a mirror. Brush your eyebrows up and over with a eyebrow brush, Compare both eyebrows as they won't be exactly the same. Use a pencil or a stick to measure your brows and ensure that they are exactly the right shape and position. Hold one pencil straight up against the side of your nostril up to the edge of the brow, and the other diagonally between the outside of the nostril and the corner of the eye. Remove anything outside these sticks. But remove hair gradually so you don't over-pluck.
STEP 2: PLUCKING TECHNIQUES
Be careful not to pinch the skin. Pluck one hair at a time. Don't pluck more than 2 or 3 hairs from an eyebrow before switching to the other side and make sure that you step back from the mirror to have a look at the overall effect before you return to the original eyebrow. Apply a damp face cloth over the eyebrows to release the hair follicles. While you pluck, use a cotton pad with witch hazel to numb any pain and remove bacteria.
Brush the eyebrows upwards and outwards to reveal the roots of the hairs.
Hold the skin of the brow with the opposite hand and gently pull it outwards so that the skin is taught. Remove in small, sharp movements. Pluck in the direction of hair growth. Don't pluck your hair everyday as you will get small black dots under your eyebrow. Avoid plucking above the eyebrow as this will lower the brow into the eye.

STEP 3: HAIR BETWEEN YOUR EYEBROWS
If you have stray hairs between your eyebrows gently pull the skin up towards the forehead with one hand and then pluck the hairs with an up-ward motion in the direction of the growth.
STEP 4: AFTER CARE
Apply an antiseptic cream to help minimise the possibility of a bacterial infection and help to numb pain and reduce swelling
